The appointment of Michał Handzlik as President strengthens ARP TFI’s managerial and investment capabilities. Bringing over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, gained across both banking and business, he opens a new chapter in the company’s development.

Michał Handzlik is a graduate in Finance and Accounting (Leon Koźmiński University). He completed the Operations & Technology program at Vanderbilt University / Owen Business School and holds an Executive MBA from the Warsaw University of Technology. His career has been built within leading market institutions—from many years at PKO BP, through senior management roles in commercial banks, to board-level positions and CEO roles in companies operating in the financial services sector.

In his professional career, he has focused on strategic management, liquidity management, and the use of money market and capital market instruments for asset allocation. He also has hands-on experience in building investment structures—establishing NS FIZAN funds, obtaining approvals from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) to manage them, and subsequently overseeing investment policy, valuations, and regulatory reporting. He has also been involved in capital market projects, including preparing companies for listings on NewConnect and transfers to the Warsaw Stock Exchange, as well as in company sale processes to investors.

As he emphasizes, he combines the perspectives of banking and entrepreneurship, which supports managerial decision-making while respecting applicable rules and regulations. In his work, he prioritizes team proactivity, continuous development of competencies, and a conscious approach to technology and the security of implemented solutions.

Michał Handzlik was the clear winner of the competition for the position of President of ARP TFI and assumed office on 12 January 2026.
