Polish Green Fund to invest PLN 30 million in charging infrastructure development
The Polish Green Fund, anager by ARP TFI, has signed another investment agreement supporting the green transformation of the Polish economy. The Fund will allocate PLN 30 million to a project developed by Saliq-EV, covering the construction and operation of a network of fast-charging hubs for commercial transport.
As part of the investment, several dozen facilities will be developed across Poland for:
- logistics and courier companies
- taxi fleets and ride-hailing drivers
- corporate vehicle fleets
- long-haul heavy-duty transport
The hubs will be located near logistics centres, warehouses and industrial facilities, as well as in major cities and close to key European transport routes. Where possible, the infrastructure will be supported by locally generated renewable energy and energy storage systems.
Investment in clean transport
“The electric vehicle charging network in Poland remains insufficient in relation to the growing needs of the market, which is slowing down the adoption of electromobility. The investment by PZF and Saliq-EV will increase the availability of charging stations and positively contribute to the development of the electric vehicle fleet in Poland,” says Tomasz Tomasiak, Investment Director at ARP TFI and manager of the Polish Green Fund.
The new investment expands the PZF portfolio to include the electric vehicle charging infrastructure segment. The Fund is already involved in projects related to biogas, biomethane, photovoltaics and energy storage.
